I am getting over the flu (gastroenteritis). This is my third day. My appetite is not 100% yet, and I still have a slight headache, but I am night and day better than Monday (Day 1).
Anyway, there is a timed 5K and 10K swim this Saturday that I can swim, but I am not sure that's the best thing to do right now. My last workout was 4 days ago. I will take today off and maybe workout tomorrow.
Thoughts?
When I get sick, I do my best not to let it affect my workout schedule. I almost always feel better after a workout, even when sick. Knowing that makes it much easier to get up and go when I'm feeling awful.
