How do Yingfa swimsuits hold up?

Because the prices are cheap but are the swimsuits?
  • I have a pair of leggings that seem to have held up pretty well. I just use them for races and have used them for 4 or 5 meets over the past 2 years. I haven't noticed any stretching and so far they don't seem to get water-logged. I can't say how they compare to other brands as I purchased these because they were pretty cheap.
  • I need to find out more about this lower $$$ suit.

Kevin, Hello from Central Pa. I purchased the Yingfa body suit from George for a Y championship meet in April and wore it for the two day meet. I will be wearing again in July for the Keystone State Games. The suit still has the look and feel as it was new after the first meet. I will see how well I swim in July. The material is more traditional and appears that it will last longer than some of the newer materials. Sorry I have not had the suit long enough to give you more information, but I really liked the suit and would purchase another depending on what Fina will does in January. Loren

  • George sells both practice suits and "tech" suits. I have one of the competition suits and it is really nice. I would assume that judging by the materials (sorry my chinese is bad so I can't read the labels :)) that the practice suits are made of the same materials as the other major companies.

If you order from George (swimdownhill.com) he is very helpful, great customer service. I never got my suit but it was my fault!

Another thumbs up for George and the suit...
  • Looks like it won't matter how they hold up, as they are not "approved"
