Hi! I am going to the 2 mile cable championships in Lake Placid, NY August 15th. Is anyone else going?

I'm considering it - I used to swimin a meet in Mirror Lake when I was a kid in the 70's and I'm feeling in the mood for a little nostalgic swim - It's just so far away....

I made my hotel reservation. I have an extra queen size bed in the room. If anyone wants to split the cost of the room let me know.
