I'm confused on all this stuff about suits.
I have a Masters LCM meet this Saturday. Is the B70 illegal? Is the FS Pro legal? I'm going to assume my poly is legal! I didn't get much use out of my B70 so I would have worn it one last time but am I correct in that it's a no go?
Thanks!
For what it is worth, the tech suit GURU Ande says the Pro is a very good suit. I would hope it lasts more than a few swims given the retail price vs. the B70.
For me, the B70 versus Pro/LZR argument boils down to:
1) B70 almost as fast as the Pro and/or LZR
2) B70 about the same price as the Pro and cheaper than the LZR
3) B70 lasts MUCH longer than either Pro or LZR
So for me, my return on investment (ROI) for the B70 is sooooo much higher than the Pro or LZR (if I could even FIT in a LZR) that it more than compensates for any possible time drops from the Pro or LZR.
That overall durability may or may not be a factor in the ruling against it. Seems strange that other suits that look a lot like the Nero Comp are legal. Pure speculation on my part but it's amazing the level of speculation when there are no specific testing requirements identified, eh?
