So is my B70 Illegal now?

I'm confused on all this stuff about suits. I have a Masters LCM meet this Saturday. Is the B70 illegal? Is the FS Pro legal? I'm going to assume my poly is legal! I didn't get much use out of my B70 so I would have worn it one last time but am I correct in that it's a no go? Thanks!

  • As a bonus, it would be ideal if USMS could then get clear agreement with FINA as to how they are going to manage WRs and World Top Ten this summer. On the one hand, I can see FINA saying that they'd reject US times because USMS has not abided by their approved list. On the other hand, since meet results (at least now) don't record each swimmer's suit, I think swimmers have a legitimate reason to state that any time swum in a sanctioned meet should count. I follow Patrick here since I can not imagine how FINA is going to police these submitted LC times - from any country. The LC season has started with several meets already passed. Swimmers racing in any suit of their choosing. The only things I saw an official act on this past weekend at a meet in regard to a suit was: Give a warning/bewares about wearing a modesty suit under a B70 (Nero) and To a swimmer wearing 2 very baggie drag suits- one on top of the other. How will FINA be able to accept some times and not others? Seems like either a year of records will have to be wiped out or a solid and legal ruling will have to be enforced and policed from a date yet in the future. (there are way too many different threads going on this forum about suits now...)
