To answer a previous question asked about Jason Lezak, he is not eligible to swim in Rome since he is passing up the trials. He did this voluntarily to swim in the Maccabiah Games. Swimming World will show an interview we (actually, I) did last month with Jason on Tuesday. And in Masters news, Mike Ross swam the prelims of the 100 back this morning. Mike swam a 1:00.61 to finish 52nd out of 52 swimmers.

Must be nice to be pissed about a time like that, Mike. :)

So how many of you out there are going to spring for a Jaked for our Nats? Since the suit will almost certainly not be legal after 01-01-10, that would be $500+ for a one meet suit. That's probably OTT... even for Pablo... I will stick with my trusty B70, though I would love to try a Jaked. If only they'd have a booth in Indy for USMS Nat's...
