2010 SCY Nationals

It is my understanding that the 2010 SCY Nationals will be May 20-23 in Georgia. Is this correct? And, does anyone know which format of events they will be using? Thanks :)
  • A large McDonald's coffee and a few layovers on the way down and I'll drive too. You need a roomie there Zac? If you don't want to do the whole drive yourself, you can always pick me up in Philly on the way down 95. Then again, My friends who lives in NYC, just takes the NJ turnpike straight down to the Del Memorial Bridge to avoid driving through Philly. I assume that you do the same.
  • Wow, what a bunch of whiney weenies. Fresno was one of the "closer" and "less expensive" flights for me -- only 4 hours of travel time each way (which actually ended up being 6 hours due to flight delays) and just over $335 for the flight. If you're gonna live on a coast or in a corner, just accept it!

Karen SW doesn't fly to Atlanta. Try Delta or Airtran esp. fly delta or airtran if you want your flight to be 1) over priced 2) delayed/cancelled 3) have to pay additional fee on airtran to pick your seat 4) lose your luggage. Or you fly southwest to birmingham, al...then drive the 2 hours or so to atlanta.

My thoughts on Texas, since you quoted it, are that it's about in the middle, a little too far south to be truly middle, but it's not a coast and it's not a corner! . Just for the record...texas is not in the south. The south stops at the mississippi river. Anything west of that river and before the rocky mountains are the midwest. Ok Karen..now you know to confuse texas with southerners. :)

Wow, it's free to pick my "seat" if I stay in the privacy of my home. lol...lucky...I can drive to atlanta...no flyin for me...yippiee.... ps...my motto...if southwest doesnt go there....i probably don't need to either..
  • I am just glad that it is on the East Coast for a change. Finally, a USMS Nationals where us Northeasterners can get to without spending the whole day to get there and gosh darn time zone changes.

Made me chuckle... I have a tough 30-minute commute to the GA Tech pool. And it is a FAST pool. I can't wait! Wow, it's free to pick my "seat" if I stay in the privacy of my home.

It's probable I'll take drugs (legal non PED types) and fly. The drive back is too much. Plus carrying all those medals etc...

I thought that was an outdoor/covered pool. Did they do more work after the olympics? Is there a warm-up pool on the site?
