Rather amazing news. Swimming World Magazine article. Says the supplement was contaminated yet Advocare was not allowed to participate in any of the hearings. Her suspension is shortened to one year.

It reads as if Advocare was almost shut out of the process. They couldn't defend themselves at all. It sure seems as if the arbitration panel WANTED Hardy to be cleared. The supplement she took was tested by 2 labs and it was concluded by both that it contained clebuterol. She then sent some of the product directly to the USADA and they concluded the same thing. The amount of clebuterol in her system was not out of line with what the samples provided would create. The puzzle is really simple, and it seems that Hardy kind of got screwed. Arbitrators are independent by the way. That means that they do not represent USADA or Jessica Hardy. They are only as good as their reputation. It is unfair and uninformed to imply that the panel had an agenda. Read the report for yourself, I linked it below. www.usantidoping.org/.../AAA_CAS Decision - Hardy - May 2009.pdf
