I can't wait even though it looks like I am in for a beating in my age group...
Thanks. I know that some have bemoaned the slightly lower number of people this year, but it does make for a more reasonable timeline. I remember very late dinners in Austin waiting for relays to finish.
The timeline looks awesome. Reasonable finish times in the afternoon, but still plenty of time between the back-to-back events I have Sunday.
I'm looking forward to swimmming the the same heat in the 200 free as Josh Davis. If I can stay within a 25 of him I'm doing well!
I kind of wish they would seed by time instead of age group - but I understand what they are doing. I some age groups even a Q time still puts you a way back in the field of swimmers.
This is my first "big time" meet since my high school sectional championships - time to start getting the jitters out!
I got ok lines i guess.
50 fly - line 8 (heat 21, just after Ande swims his 50 fly in heat 20)
50 free- line 6 (heat 33, just after Ande and Carpenter S. in heat 32)
100 fly - line 2 (heat 16 , just after Ande and Carpenter S.in heat 15)
100 free- line 8
This is nice that i will have to watch Ande and Scott before me even though, i need to concentrate on my race. But i think, it can inspire after watching guys swim faster faster :)
