I won't say the suit issue didn't cross my mind, but not to begrudge Rowdy's accomplishment, which I have absolutely no problems with. It was more wondering how fast I might have gone wearing a B-70 11 years ago. Even in
'98 I was wearing an Aquablade knee length and I'm sure that made a difference. But it cuts both ways. Now I'll be able to wear the latest iteration of suit technology and delude myself into thinking I'm not slowing down as much as I would be without one. Right now I'm beginning to focus on next year when I age up and hoping that a B-70 (or whatever is legal and the latest at the time) helps me get under :50 in the 100 free one more time. If it would only be as simple as wearing a fast suit.
