Being Buoyant

I'm learning to swim now, working on freestyle. I've spent much time on balance and general "feeling my body in the water". Progress is decent. Major wall now is in freestyle - getting enough clearance to grab a breath. My body is a bit low - especially troublesome to keep my legs at the surface. I know about head position - am keeping the water line at the upper 1/3 of my head, looking straight down. My rotation into the breath is pretty good, keep my head inline with body, definitley NOT lifting my head. Increased my stroke rate to about a stroke per second and maintain a wide track, both of which help. I am very lean and muscular and am definitely a "sinker". Appreciate any suggestions on what I can do to get a bit higher in the water or effective ways to deal with being a bit low.
