HELP!:drown:
The chlorine is really doing my hair in. And I've tried it all...Always rinsing hair before getting in water and putting a conditioner on before. Also, I always wash with chlorine removing shampoo afterwards...
However, my hair still is so dry. Also I pay crap loads of money to have it colored and my blondish color hair is just turning an ugly, dull brassy color. EWWWWW!
Can anyone recommmend a really good pre swim treatment for the hair?
Come on...I know not all of you have a rat's nest on your head!!!hehe:joker:
Good news: I know of a great pre-swim product.
Bad news: I'm not sure they make it any more.
The product is Redken Sun Shape Swim Cream. I have a 5-ounce bottle here; the UPC code is 4387703890.
This stuff is great. In the summer we swim outdoors and the water temperature can get close to 90 degrees. When that happens I use a Lycra cap, which lets the water through. I can put this stuff on before I swim, do a 90-minute workout, and it's still in my hair afterward.
I haven't seen it at my salon recently and I don't see it on the Redken web site. I do see a bottle on Ebay, here:

Funny you mentioned this. I have used this before and just found some for blonde hair on Ebay for .99 cent!! Whoo hoo. I'm desperate. My hair just turns the funniest colors!
