HELP!:drown:
The chlorine is really doing my hair in. And I've tried it all...Always rinsing hair before getting in water and putting a conditioner on before. Also, I always wash with chlorine removing shampoo afterwards...
However, my hair still is so dry. Also I pay crap loads of money to have it colored and my blondish color hair is just turning an ugly, dull brassy color. EWWWWW!
Can anyone recommmend a really good pre swim treatment for the hair?
Come on...I know not all of you have a rat's nest on your head!!!hehe:joker:

You might try an after shampoo treatment. I stumbled upon a product called "ReSami" in a swim magazine once. It's expensive -- $21 for 30 capsules -- but I have noticed a definite difference in my hair texture since using it. My daughter is an age group swimmer with very long hair, and her hair looks great; it's not dry and stays shiny. I buy mine here: www.salonweb.com/.../capsules.htm My hairdresser swears by a leave-in silicone based spray: www.sleekhair.com/8604.html I use this as well, and it's good, but I think ReSami is superior. Good luck!
*Edited to add that the silicon based products are supposed to protect the hair during your next swim, so they may help to protect your color.
