I was at the same meet as Ande and Chowmi.....
I was impressed with many swims. I almost never watch the distance events but I was impressed with Chris Derks' (38) 9:50.36 1000 free. Beat the next closest (the great Larry Wood) by 1:01.
Laura Glass' 50 breaststroke was something to see.
One guy swam the 1000 free as a 1000 fly. Don't know why.
