Should I Lift Again?

just wondering what you guys thoought whenever i swim...even when im in shape...my arms seem to tighten up alot from the bicep and shoulder do you guys think that some weight lifting will help fix that? i have always thought it was because i have a muscular body and especially very musuclar legs(which caused me to pull up and foward intead of just up) would really like to hear what you guys have to say....thanks
