I joined organized swim team 2 months ago. Started with starts from the block just days ago. I was thinking-what am i doing?i was little stressed out; so i did little reflecting:
Things to improve besides swim training:
-take more food man!
-warm up more
-stop thining about starts
-relax day before
tHings i know so far i have to improve:
-better starts
-better underwater kick
-and more prcatice-that's obvious.
Considering it was my first swim meet i think i did ok but always want to improve-I was 1st in my age group for 50 yds free(33s) and 2nd 100yds(1:11) free-starts were much better than in practice-iguess i just cleared my mind or was thinking about food!;)
I really enjoyed the meet and look forward to next -therefore i can keep on improving.
