On our USMS registration cards there is a line that says "Registration card and travel permit." What on earth does the "travel permit" part mean? "Where y'all think you're goin', boy? We don't like your kind - distance weenies - 'round these here parts. Y'all can't leave Elizabethtown without your USMS travel permit." -LBJ

Next time I travel abroad I'm just going to bring my USMS card. It's a travel permit, after all, so I'm sure it's just as good as a passport. In the words of Mr. Rogers: "Can you say 3-hour, full-body, all-cavity search with a cattle prod? I knew you could." -LBJ
