Hi everyone I just heard of the rule that you can now do one fly kick with your breaststroke.
I am trying to do it at practice to get more momentum and faster times in competition.
It feels a little unnatural still. I tried to locate videos showing the technique but was unable.
I would appreciate any help and in particular videos showing it. I seem to learn better visually. Thanks so much for all your help.:bliss:
I think the key to "butterfrog" is to think of it more like BR than like fly. After each kick streamline and "ride the glide"like BR.There was a thread on this about 2 yr ago on this forum and Terry Laughlin posted a video of himself doing it.Someone who is better at searches than I can find it.(I thought Terry didn't streamline enough.)It is MUCH faster for me in a 200 Fly.Ginger Pierson has set several 200 Fly WRs doing it.Good Luck.
