and to bring the thread back on topic, :woot:
It does seem we hijacked Ande's thread...but it is kind of nice to have one place to talk about all the conference championships.
Maybe Ande could rename the thread...and since it was his to begin with, I'd even be willing to accept "2009 Championships of the Big 12 and lesser conferences" :)
Just looked at the ACC results for tonight...that 400 IM (3:39.33) by Gal Nevo was something else. A 1:00 split on the breaststroke leg? Sheesh. I remember when breaking the 4 minute barrier was a pretty big deal, now we have 23 guys doing it in the morning.
Kudos to Noah Copeland for his 200 free, he brought it back tough to medal in a competitive field:
1 McLean, Matt SO Virginia 1:34.98 1:32.80*D1-A 20
21.85 45.39 (23.54)
1:08.86 (23.47) 1:32.80 (23.94)
2 Robison, Scot SO Virginia 1:34.57 1:33.05*D1-A 17
21.52 45.10 (23.58)
1:09.01 (23.91) 1:33.05 (24.04)
