I watched Ian's swim in San Antonio. He got after it from the start and blew away his very good 2:00 prelim swim. Big kid, like his dad. He has the 1st seed going into state with two returning medalists in the IM.
I watch 4A more closely than 5A. 5A is fearsomely fast. It is brutal just to advance to state.
What city does Clifton swim in? Those are outstanding freshman times.
I don't think Fiegen was that fast as a freshman.
