Hi,
I have a few questions about the Blue Seventy Nero Male Comp skins (Knee/Long Leg).
I have heard of significant time drops being done in Blue Seventy's, and I'm trying to get my US Open cuts in the 1500 M and in the 500 and 1000 yard freestyle at NCSA Jr. Nats. Will it really make that much of a difference?
Also, what size should I get?
I'm 5'10 1/2- 5'11 and weigh 147.
Thanks for any help!
Yeah. I guess it's just personal preference. I mean, how much difference can fabric from knee to 3/4 of the way down your leg make?
Get the full leg length B70. Historically, I was a pure distance guy (my college events @ UT-Austin were 500, 1000, 1650 and 400 IM) and only swam in jammers as a Masters swimmer. I switched to a B70 full length last fall and my first event was the 800M. I've since used it in every event I try to swim fast in, including a 1650 recently. While I like it for all races, I do believe it's an even sweeter suit the longer the race.
As to the difference between the knee length and full leg length, I find that the knee length "cuts" into my quads in a way I don't like. That might be just me.
With all of this talk about tech suits, though, remember that their impact is still nowhere near the impact you get from training!
