Just curious how many of you take naps. Personally, I love to take long naps whenever I can. On nights I don't swim I usually take a two hour nap when I get home from work. On days when I work from home I'll usually nap if I've got at least an hour of free time before I have to leave for the pool. This does cause me to miss workouts on occasion when I don't feel like getting up! I also like to take two hour naps in the afternoon on weekends when possible, even though I usually get eight hours of sleep or more on the weekend. As you might have guessed, I don't have any children!
I know some people rarely if ever nap and others prefer much shorter naps. How about you?

As for naps, on the very few occasions when I've had the ability to nap right after a hard workout, it definitely was a decadent pleasure. That pretty much never happens though. I barely have time to swim or sleep in the first place, let alone do extra of either.
If I could nap, I probably would do it once or twice a week and target the 45 minute to 1 hour range.
