  • I really was just going to get a nose clip and call it a day. You really think I should put more than 30 seconds of effort in learning to breath without a nose clip? When I first got my snorkel I got a lot of water in my nose, and I thought a nose clip would help, but it didn't. I still got water in my nose somehow, and with the nose clip on the pressure in my sinuses was kind of unpleasant too. So yes, I would recommend that you figure out how to keep water out of your nose without a nose clip when you are using your snorkel. Otherwise you will never really like your snorkel, which would be a shame because it is a great training tool.
