I didn't turn anything up with the search tool... I was wondering what effect pool chlorine has on the bacterial soup in the human mouth. Good, bad, no effect?
My experience has been that in Saturday morning workouts, lane mates starting out with their bad breakfast breath have it disappear after a few hundred yards.:D
Our family dog drank exclusively out of our pool her entire life (refused a water bowl). She had the whitest dog teeth ever, and lived 15 healthy years--never had a health issue.
I have never had a cavity, and I attribute it to growing up with a mouth full of chlorine.
