  • And the downloads are SUPER slow. But, I'm still appreciative of the coverage just offering some feedback.
  • And they're off! Hopefully A&M has the bulkhead set properly this time.:bolt:

Thats cool. The sound quality on the archived races is good but the live feed is mostly inaudible. Except for maybe when the announcer closes his mic. It sounds horrific. Hopefully the people down in TX get some feedback and try to correct this. Thanks, we're aware of the problem and are trying to fix it. But, it may wind up being a fix that needs to be made tomorrow. We apologize for it! The rest of the stream seems to be pretty cool though. I'm not personally working on it, as I'm taking care of the editorial. Our stream crew, including Mr. Jeff Commings, have been busy bees today! Thank you NCAA to letting us to this for the sport for the second year in a row!

  • I'm confused. Am I supposed to be getting the feed from SW mag? When I follow the links I get led to a CBS Sports site which requires Microsoft Silverlight (which appears not to work with Safari). Am I winding up in the right place?
  • And the downloads are SUPER slow. But, I'm still appreciative of the coverage just offering some feedback. Me too!! Whenever I get frustrated watching the final 10 yards of a race go to a watery blurrrrr... I just think back to the days not so very long ago that we had to wait for the Monday morning green sheet in the San Francisco Chronicle to get the news of any NCAA competition. And geez... some years even the Chronicle let us down and we had to wait for 2 months till the next Swimming World Magazine showed up in the mailbox with the results! By then, the swimsuit prints had even changed and the photos looked out of date! I can write this on a masters swimming forum cause there are swimmers who will get what I'm talking about. Livestream? Love it!

I'm confused. Am I supposed to be getting the feed from SW mag? When I follow the links I get led to a CBS Sports site which requires Microsoft Silverlight (which appears not to work with Safari). Am I winding up in the right place? Yes. We are providing the feed for the NCAA. It is not technically our feed. We started streaming the meet last year for the NCAA to help the world be able to see every swim of the meet. CBS Sports is an affiliate of NCAA when it comes to these national championship webcasts.
