Whenever I get frustrated watching the final 10 yards of a race go to a watery blurrrrr... I just think back to the days not so very long ago that we had to wait for the Monday morning green sheet in the San Francisco Chronicle to get the news of any NCAA competition.
And geez... some years even the Chronicle let us down and we had to wait for 2 months till the next Swimming World Magazine showed up in the mailbox with the results!
By then, the swimsuit prints had even changed and the photos looked out of date!
I can write this on a masters swimming forum cause there are swimmers who will get what I'm talking about.
