Adding to the "Piano Chat"
Ande wrote a "SAW YOUR SPLITS" message to me after my Regional Champs 200 Free.
Assume you going for a 100 split.
If not, you went out too fast.
I blamed it on the B70 forcing me out of control like a cork.
Definitely saw some of that in Clovis - and now I understand it after going through it at Regionals.
We talked my good friend Barbara Dunbar into getting a B70 at the meet. Talk about old school... I never thought I could convince HER to get into a tech-suit!
But when she actually agreed, bought it and walked up to me encased in the new B70, I realized I had about 10 minutes to seriously talk to her about keeping her stroke reigned in on the 1st 50 of her potential NR 100 Fly.
She totally nailed it - the woman is the Queen of control!!
And she swam great the entire meet.
In fact - I came out on her heels on the ramp at the open water swim :)
Nice thanks... but still I was totally proud of her!
