I think the stretch cord exercises can fit into the busy schedules of coaches and swimmers. You can add more or subtract some and as long as you start out easy and progress the sets to failure, you’ll get a training response. I think the fact that people associate shoulder problems with movement rather than the attack the real problem (lack of muscular balance / symmetry) is a good reason to do the shoulder exercises. A lot of teams are proactive and get a qualified physical therapist that evaluates muscular imbalance of each athlete and prescribes exercises to remedy it. Good luck and Merry Christmas
