Where do you live?(and who are you?)

My comment about Jim Thorton being in the Eastern Media::D led me to wonder how many Forumites are on the E Coast as it seems lots of Y'all run into each other at meets. So where are you from. Also,I know many of you want to remain anonymous, but I'd like more people to fill out their profile.People talk about how they did at a meet, but without a name I can't look them up.

I'm a Canadian :canada: who lives in Cary, NC. You can always tell the locals from the "others" when the weather turns bad. Rain or snow, most Southerners don't know how to drive very well in it, they're just not used to it. A few years ago I saw a Good Ol' Boy in a 4x4 pickup truck trying to do 55 on an ice covered roadway coming up to a gridlocked and backed-up stoplight. That didn't end well for him or the 3 people he ran into. Then there was the guy I saw riding in that very same ice storm on a scooter, half helmet and t-shirt, with a case of Bud Light strapped to the backseat with 4 bungee cords, driving through the snow-covered grass on the side of the road cackling to himself. Welcome to the South! Anyways, Cary is a nice spot, and the surrounding areas are nice too. Good pools, so I can't complain too much. Triangle Aquatic Center (www.triangleaquatics.org/) and Pullen Park (www.raleigh-nc.org/.../Cat-Index.html) are both great spots, plus the YMCA has several branches nearby with pools, and other gyms in the area have pools as well (Golds, Lifetime, etc...)
