I was at a USS meet this past weekend and was talking to a local college coach. We were talking about the lzr and the blue seventy. He stated that he has seen people that wear the blueseventy under for buyancy and the lzr on top of it. Anyone seen this done? Seems a little over the top for me, but how much is to much.
My meet sucked by the way so we wont really talk about that. Did a 53.3 in the 100 fly and choked in the 200 fly (literally!) took it out in 56.1 and then on the 5th lap took in some major water down in lungs. Could not breath and tried to work it out during the 6th lap but could not and ended up hanging on the wall and gagging some until i got the water out. Got the good ole "DNF" for me. It is what it is and consider it a fluke, but it was somewhat embaressing since it was a prelim/final and it happend in finals.
So anyways, I just could not think of wearing 2 tech suits. By way, wore a FS Pro for the first time and hated it! To tight around chest and shoulders and put back on my regular fastskin original.
Multiple suits will be addressed by FINA, US Swimming, & NCAA
I heard several swimmers who broke WRs at the European Championships wore 2 or 3 suits
