I'm curious. If you had to choose your favorite post workout food what is it? Not a supplement. Real food here.
Right now I like a blackberry jam with PB and honey with crushed walnuts on Wheat. 300 ca. 10 gr protein. I also like a 25 gr. protein smoothie. If I had to choose a supplement it would be Hammer Recoverite. After a long sat. run over 15 miles I will add a big glass of choco milk.

I usually swim later in the day, so for dinner I like (vegetarian) Cincinnati-style chili. This is chili over spaghetti with a bit of cheese on top. (I know the Texas crowd will probably make noises like a scalded dog at that, but when I was growing up we didn't have a lot of money and it was a way for my mom to fill us up cheaply.)
When I do swim in the AM: Oatmeal mixed with a little margarine, raisins, cinnamon and (real) vanilla extract. No sugar. Orange juice. Earl Grey tea, black.
