Favorite Post swim chow

I'm curious. If you had to choose your favorite post workout food what is it? Not a supplement. Real food here. Right now I like a blackberry jam with PB and honey with crushed walnuts on Wheat. 300 ca. 10 gr protein. I also like a 25 gr. protein smoothie. If I had to choose a supplement it would be Hammer Recoverite. After a long sat. run over 15 miles I will add a big glass of choco milk.

  • My latest obsession is a place near the pool which makes this great orange french toast with lots of butter and real maple syrup. That plus some eggs and bacon and coffee after a morning workout and I'm in heaven. Of course a few hours later it's impossible to keep my eyes open at work but who cares? I'm glad I'm still riding the tail ends of my limitless metabolism from college, as long as I get at least 3 good workouts a week I seem to be able to eat anything I want whenever I want. I have a funny feeling that won't last forever though.
