Is anyone else fearing for their swim program due to the upcoming enforcement of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act?
I swim in Massachusetts, and there's a possibility our pool will have to close due to compliance issues.
Anyone else dealing with this? We've been calling our legislators and doing whatever we can, but I think it needs to be a national effort.

We're still closed here... The local swim teams' seasons end soon, and they haven't been able to practice together in weeks. At a town Select Board meeting, parents, swimmers, coaches and others showed up to recommend action. So far, a whole lot of nothing.
There's one health club around here that has an open pool but our masters swimmers have gotten less than a warm reception from the people who use it. Apparently, the idea of circling in appalling to them, and why would you ever have more than two people in a lane?
