Is there any standard for gauging one swimmer's level of competence?
for example 27.5s for 50m freestyle(long course)
1:05.00 for 100m freestyle(long course)....
I mean nationally recognized, ie, if you break this time, you are entitled a *** swimmer.
the only time standards that I have seen are for age groupers 10 & under up to 17-18.

But I don't think that there are enough results in all the masters age groups to make it worth the effort to make a chart. otherwise it would be cool to see a time standards for masters.
