Best Time To Swim

I'm curious what everyone's opinion is with regard to the best time to hold Master's Swim practice? Morning, noon, night, etc?
  • I am debating right now whether or not to do the pm practices as well. I am holding the a.m. practices, but a lot of people that have been interested in the program are complaining that it is too early and want to see practices in the p.m. However, the issue with that is I only have a 4 lane 25 yard pool to work with an a growing swim team that needs the pool at night...issues issues issues....thoughts? Don't make any decisions about AM practice until after Fall Back. Daylight Savings time is for summers. In the winter, I want that extra hour to sleep. Actually, I don't get my energy back until Feb.
  • I have the AM practices right now, but no PM practices. I am (depending on interest) most likely going to intro PM practices to them, but allow the Master's swimmers in the lane with my age-groupers. Andy - You should schedule only one or two PM's until you find out if the "interest" translates into sufficient "attendance".
