Not sure if this has been asked here... For me, the first reason is that I don't want to be drowned in case of accident :cool: . The last reason is that I'm proud to tell people I swim :D . In between there are a lot of other reasons.

Apparently I swim because:
I like to get out of a warm bed at 5 am in the winter
I like to swim in an outdoor pool all through the winter
I like to devour breakfast in the car while driving to work
I like to start my workday feeling tired
I like to compete against people who always beat me
