hi,
first of all, i'm very sorry for my sometimes horrible english. i'm from belgium, you see...
i've got a simple question: how do i learn 'good' freestyle myself? is there a specific manner to learn it? i enjoy swimming, but i can't swim efficient, even not my breaststroke..
so, guys, if you can give me good advice, i'll be very happy :-)

Hi Bert, "Total Immersion" by Terry Laughlin is a nice book to start with. It taught me how to swim freestyle :) Starting with it helped me avoid bad habits that I otherwise might form which would be hard to correct later on.
Some people don't agree with the method taught there, but for a beginner it doesn't matter to me. I think distinguishing various methods comes only when you have become an advanced swimmer :)
