If you wear silicone swim cap, the hair doesn't get that much chlorine, does it?

My colorist notices that the chlorine gives my hair a slimy texture when wet...Which product(s) from the John Frieda Collection do you recommend?
I went online and there were several listed. I just started using Kiehl's(sp?) too early to say whether it works...
