One 100 free to go in set. Two open lanes.(no lane lines in pool) Noodler comes over to stand in my lane to talk with friend. Pool is set at 85 degrees cause all the noodlers say it is to cold otherwise. I complain to guard, am told, "well there are a lot more of them then there are lap swimmers" Wont be if they keep this up. UGH! :frustrated:

The way I see it, the large blue text in an obnoxious font is an artificial and cheap way to assert individuality. Why not just let your words speak for themselves without tarting them up? I've read a lot of your posts, and believe me, you have no trouble expressing yourself in an interesting manner. I like reading your posts, except for the obnoxious typeface, size, and color choice.

I'm not one of those people to change simply because of peer pressure to do so. And, I am surely not going to bow to your "should"s (or anybody else's, for that matter).
I chose my font and color, because I like it. OK, there are some of you out there who don't like it. I get it. It's your problem; not mine. I'm the one who has to look at my posts as I write them, so why not use my favorite color and a font? On second thought, don't answer that.
I'm sorry it may be hard for some of you out there to read. I surely did not intend on making my posts difficult to read. Honestly, I thought blue in a 3pt. size would be easy on the eyes. But, I'm not going to change, because, again, I like using this color, whether it's about individuality, creativity, or not. Actually, it's not. I just like this color! As for the rest of you who hate comic sans, GET A LIFE AND GET OVER IT! There are more important things in life than to waste time bashing my font. Afterall, aren't the forums supposed to be about swimming? Then, let's get back on topic. Enough hassling me, already! I judge people on their character; not their appearance (or the appearance of their posts), race, age, religion, sexual orientation, or WHATEVER. I wish more people would do the same.

I'm not one who feels the "need" to express my individuality at all, really. But, the options are here to do just that if one desires. Small black font is boring to me. And, I like to have fun with the Smilies. They make me smile using them! :D I have enough self confidence to just be ME, the way I want to be ME.
