One 100 free to go in set. Two open lanes.(no lane lines in pool) Noodler comes over to stand in my lane to talk with friend. Pool is set at 85 degrees cause all the noodlers say it is to cold otherwise. I complain to guard, am told, "well there are a lot more of them then there are lap swimmers" Wont be if they keep this up. UGH! :frustrated:

And, because there a few others who don't like it? I've received more positive comments on my choices than criticism. Several PMs I received were just about that and nothing else.Some people would simply change their type style if it were that much of a source of controversy. Who has the time, really?
So, unless Jim (or anyone else at USMS) removes these font and color options (and Smilies) from the forums, I will not change a thing.Just because a person has the ability to do something, it does not necessarily follow that they should do that thing, especially if it annoys some people and provides no benefit.

The way I see it, the large blue text in an obnoxious font is an artificial and cheap way to assert individuality. Why not just let your words speak for themselves without tarting them up? I've read a lot of your posts, and believe me, you have no trouble expressing yourself in an interesting manner. I like reading your posts, except for the obnoxious typeface, size, and color choice.
