One 100 free to go in set. Two open lanes.(no lane lines in pool) Noodler comes over to stand in my lane to talk with friend. Pool is set at 85 degrees cause all the noodlers say it is to cold otherwise. I complain to guard, am told, "well there are a lot more of them then there are lap swimmers" Wont be if they keep this up. UGH! :frustrated:
I'm so sorry to hear things turned out so badly. It is hard to have a reasonable discussion with unreasonable people; perhaps impossible.
To save you and your supportive hubby from further stress is it possible you could swim any other time during the day? I know it's hard to throw in the towel when you are being manipulated by knitwits but something tells me the "fight" is more important to this group than the pool. Chances are if you back off they will lose interest in their noodling and you might get the pool back after all. Wouldn't that be a happy ending to this SAD, sad tale.
