Please help. Is it a kicking problem?

I can run, row, and cycle for 45 minutes with a heart rate of 155-160 bpm. I can flutter kick on my back for 45 minutes as well. I can barely do 25 meters while flutter kicking in a prone position with a kick board. Why? Is this the same reason I can barely swim 25 meters via front crawl? Thank you VERY much for reading.   • my guess is you dont have flexible feet/ankles you probably cant catch the water when you flutter kick on freestyle you probably work too hard head might be too high kick is weak probably dont have much feel for the water might be conditioning since athletic fitness is specific DROP BY my solution to Help My Flutter Kick is Horrible

    I just noticed the thread on flutter kicks, in which you have provided tremendous feedback. I will refer to that thread in the future. Being a full-time student at the university and striving to train up to 4 hours a day six days a week, I have not had time to search through threads. However, today I stumbled across the aforementioned thread :) Baruch Hashem. :)
