I've my left ear that it's somewhat "sensible" to the water, especially if I turn the head on same side to breath, in this event it's very uncomfortable for me to swim without a earplug. on the instructions there's a notice that urge to don't use for diving. I use a model of the speedo made of plastic that even if it don't fully sealed my ear it's enought to fix it. I suppose that the notice is about diving from platform or springboard. My question is : diving from the block is it safe or not ? thanks

Yes, it is safe. I always do it. I also only use one ear plug (in my right ear). Someone saw me doing it and asked me if I weren't in danger of damaging my eardrum. But I don't think there is anything to worry about, particulaly if your swim cap is pulled over your ears. No way could that amount of pressure push an earplug far enough into your eardrum to cause damage. As an added precaution make sure you don't insert the earplug too deeply into your ear.
