Wow! That is nice that a swimmer gets to host SNL. I guess that NBC owes Phelps big time. I could care less if he will be funny. I hope that Horatio Sanz will not play his mother in a skit. That would be just wrong. Is anyone loving the Phelps's mainstream explosion. You know that Phelps will get his own Christmas special with Lil Wayne rapping(as awful as it sounds) to Christmas carols.
The SNL cast does a fairly good job of making non-actors and otherwise unfunny people come off pretty good. Word is the muslical guest is Lil Wayne, who Phelps talks about non spot as the rapper he plays before he gets in the pool - I am certain a skit could come of that.
Hopefully Phelps has better luck in the media and on TV than Mark Spitz did. I remember reading once that they tried to tap Spitz to play James Bond - but that he had 0 charisma as an actor.
