back to chlorine from non-chlorine question

I recently decided to change from a non chlorine pool, and have chosen to use chlorine again. I shocked the pool with chlorine, after waiting some days, but the result is green and cloudy water. Where did I go wrong?

Have you checked/balanced the PH/hardness If the hardness is off it can be cloudy and not having the PH straight can cause a Green pool that can be quite uncomfortable. Cheers. www.essortment.com/.../maintainingswim_sdle.htm www.apespools.com/chemistry.htm
