Hi, Glad to be a part of this organization. I'm just getting back into swimming after many years since being competitive on the high school level. It would be great if I could get to know some others in my age bracket, so is there any way you could put us in contact with each other via this site? Other ideas? Thanks. Sincerely, Gills

  • Click on "Members List" above and you will find some ages given. There are lots of "less young" swimmers here! I'm over 55 and definitely not approaching geezerhood! I swim with two different crowds, both of mixed ages (probably a 40-year range in each), and we enjoy each other terrifically. Swimming is a great way to keep neuro responses alert, weight down, and general tenor up. If you feel you have specific age-related issues, perhaps keep in mind that responses in general are fractionally slower, it will take longer to get up to speed, longer to recover from massive effort, etc. Just keep at it with the swimming. It also improves one's mental state!
