The 50 free final and Olympic presentation was awesome. Cesar showed true emotion, a very talented swimmer that really wanted to be in the medals. It will be good to watch him race in the future, his underwater is spectacular.

There are rumors that he didn't get any support financial or otherwise from the swimming powers that be in Brazil. It has been related that his father sold a car to raise money for his necessities in Auburn. He has been away from home (except for a few visits here and there, for the Pan American Games) for the last three years. But, hey, did he cry! Most of us who are swimmers and had some hopes in him, also cried with him. I'll throw in some controversy here: can you imagine Phelps with the good looks of Cielo? He looks good, is likeable and hopefully will have a long career, although 50 and 100 free is full of talent and competition....
