Who wins the 100 fly

Crocker will be out very fast (under 23.4) but Phelps will catch him by the flags. I hope that Crocker doesn't fall apart enough for anybody else to beat him. Guys like Cavic, Bousquet, and Subirats will be very good too.

Wow.....Cavic and Bousquet both swam faster 100 frees than Crocker has swam in a while. I don't think Crocker is really on it, but we'll see.

And in 12 more years let's all bad mouth Phelps Only if he deserves it.

I'm going with crocker 50.51 Crocker 50.51 Phelps 50.47 The goggle mishap on the 200 made him angry. That's good.

I have a bit of a doomsday prediction. Crocker's recent history of losing to Phelps continues. But Phelps is tired, doesn't get the WR, but still beats Crocker. Phelps 50.41 Crocker 50.99

Hoffman, You are depressing. If Ian is "on", he will go close to his WR and touch out Phelps. The world will gasp in silence. 8 will become 7 forever. Spitz will secretly smile in front of his TV. John Smith

OK - another less gloomy prediction. Phelps summons up all of his remaining power. He REALLY wants to swim the finals of the medley relay. He wants bad boy Spitz (who said his favorite event was the 100 fly) to see what he missed by not coming to Beijing. Phelps goes 49.88, carries Crocker with him, who finishes under his WR at 50.33, but loses nevertheless.
