I have here to fore been in favor of foreign swimmers at US Universities,feeling it was good for the sport and ultimately good for US swimming as we get to swim with the best.I am changing my mind as I think about the loss of swimming scholarships for mens swimming.As scholarships are cut due to a perversion of the intent of Title IX,every scholarship becomes more precious for US swimmers.:notworking:
By the way,there is an excellent article on Title IX in the current issue of the ASCA Magazine.The intent of Title IX was to increase opportunities for women,not decrease them for men(but thats another diatribe.)
