It is a well known fact that us Aussies revere our swimmers but I wonder how many of you are also aware of just how quickly they are cut down if they falter?

I noticed that this article did not mention the fact that this race had awesome times and that Grant swam just about his personal best. When he says he had no more in the tank, I believe he meant that he could not get any more speed up, no more than that.
And this, readers was written by our own countryman. At least, I have noticed that your media although do not razz up your swimmers as much as ours but then again nor do they sink the boot in.
